Museum Noordwijk is located in a beautifully preserved, 400-year-old so-called inner dune farm. The only one that can still be found in the Netherlands. Small on the outside, big on the inside! The museum has the largest museum collection of pottery from Porceleinfabriek de Kroon (1906-1910), with masterpieces by Henri Breetvelt (1864-1923). Museum Noordwijk also has works of art by Oswald Wenckebach, Charlotte van Pallandt and Maja van Hall in its collection. All artists who lived and worked in Noordwijk. There is also an impressive number of paintings by, among others, Ludolph Berkemeier and J.H. Wijsmuller, which clearly shows what Noordwijk looked like around 1900. You will also find a number of period rooms in the museum that are decorated in the atmosphere of Noordwijk from the early 20th century. In the museum, visitors are further informed about the fishing history of the coastal town. Interesting temporary exhibitions are organized every year. The museum is centrally located in the tourist center of Noordwijk.
