Noordwijk Painting Festival 2024

The Noordwijk Painting Festival takes place from June 18th to 23rd, 2024. 40 (inter)national professional artists paint outdoors in natural light in Noordwijk and the surrounding area. The theme of this 26th edition is “color”. The artists work outdoors, attempting to capture the changing light and colors, just as the Impressionists did 150 years ago. In this tradition they use colors to represent light and emotions.

Purchase paintings

Do you want to take a painting home with you as a souvenir? At Strandpaviljoen De Zeester you can purchase the paintings daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Sundays until 4 p.m.). These works, created in the open air, are cheaper than in galleries due to a lower foundation surcharge. The selection grows throughout the week and the winner of the Maja van Hall Painting Award will be announced at the end of the week.

The artists work outside: “plein air” and use the natural light, which is constantly changing.

Tourist Information Summer Gallery

The Noordwijk Tourist Office is passionate about the Noordwijk Painting Festival. A festival where forty artists from all over the world come to capture our beautiful village on their canvas for a summer week, how special is that?

This summer we are expanding our collaboration with a sales exhibition in the tourist office. That is why we are setting up part of our tourist office as a summer gallery this summer, with a presentation of masterpieces from previous festival editions from June 11. And with a sales exhibition of Noordwijk artworks painted this festival summer from June 28 to the end of August. Come visit the VVV summer gallery and discover Noordwijk through the eyes of artists!
