The route to Zandvoort takes you past the Amsterdam Waterleidingduinen, one of the most beautiful dune areas in the Netherlands. Only walking is allowed in this dune area, but this cycle route takes you around the water supply dunes and gives you the most beautiful views of the North Sea and the dunes.

The Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes is a beautiful dune area where you can enjoy fantastic walks. There are several entrances. Make a stop along the way for a short walk or come here another day for a day walk. That is definitely worth it. For walking maps and tips of the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes, please contact the VVV Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout or the Oranjekom visitor center.
A wonderful place for a break is at Buitenplaats de Plantage. A slow down and good food restaurant in an oasis of peace.
The route takes you through the Zilkerbinnenweg. In the spring, beautiful fields bloom here. At the end of the Zilkerbinnenweg you will find Tulip Experience. Discover the magic of the tulip here.
After this you will find several nice places for lunch or a drink. Cafe/restaurant de Ruigenhoek, Pannekoekenrestaurant Langs Berg&Dal and Como&Co.
But that is of course also possible in the pleasant center of Noordwijkerhout at, for example, Brownies&Downies or at one of the other cozy terraces around the Witte Kerk.
After a sporty day of cycling, enjoy some time and dine at one of the wonderful restaurants in Noordwijk or Noordwijkerhout.
